Nice campsites mostly shaded sites. Not that expensive compared to other campsites in the area. Unfortunately snook haven was closed for renovations when we camped. If it wasn't it would be even better. We got a premium site right on the water. Could not ask for a better site and we didn't even pay the extra money to reserve the specific site. Please look at pictures as the surroundings are beautiful. Not a ton of people camping here now which is even better for us being here.

Yes. There are cabins and other units available.
Contact the park
Please contact Tom or Harry on their web site.
We called for reservations; they have new owners (they are doing a great job)!
It is privately owned, but one of the nicest, best places we've camped. Highly recommend it. Great tilapia fishing, and Snooks Bayside is right next door which has music on Saturdays Sundays and Thursdays. You can also rent Kayaks there and take a Riverboat tour.
Seems there are a few permanent residents in the park. We didn't inquire about the residency of these, what looked liked year round homes.
There is up by the pool! But not at each campsite (we brought a grill with us)! Love this campground.
Yes, my best friend has their large RV there year round
No Pits/places at your site. Also you can't have a fire directly on the ground.
Summer months are very slow. They are open M-F.
No grills out at each site but there is a spot Riverside to grill
In this particular camp grounds....never have seen any, however, I'm sure they are about. Bring your kayaks have some fun just know you are in their territory
Canoeing, kayaking, boat ramp, fishing, 24 hour heated pool. Nice showers. Kid friendly.
We a go a couple times a year and stay in the cabins. The trails are not wheelchair accessible. We have seen dogs in the RV section. It is such a peaceful and relaxing location. Very tranquil.
They have very clean bath houses and they do long term camping if a site is available. Not sure of price. I put a5th wheel there from Nov to April, so I pay a seasonal rate.
Not sure, you will have to call Camp Venice..
It is a slow time so they may be out. Mostly empty now so I think u could just show up.
10 to 15 minutes depending on traffic
