My basement had backed up 3 times since November. I’ve had roto rooter out each time to snake the lines. After a month or two it would back up again. I called Union township department of public works. The operator I spoke with was amazing. She walked me through what was going to happen with great accuracy and curtesy. She said someone would be there soon. I was thinking an hour or so but no. One worker showed up in 10 minutes and began to assess the situation. 5 minutes later another worker showed up with the sewage truck. They located the clog in the city line, cleared it, notified me that we were good to go and were on their way. Total elapsed time: 20 minutes from the time I placed the call to the time they finished and left. Great job!
