I'm in the annual process of cat 🐈 check-ups for 6, and in both of the appointments that I've had so far, my cats were very much comforted by the (same) vet tech. Vet appointments stress me out because my cats are stressed out, so I'm very appreciative that my cats are actually "cared" for. The only criticism is that they neglected to inform me that they (as of Aug 2022) they are still doing curbside visits, due to COVID and, masks are still required. That's something that needs to be brought at time of making appointment and not in the appointment reminder. I don't read the remainder emails.. I know when my appointments are.

Great staff and very affordable! It is difficult to get your pet into the schedule for a first visit, because it's a very small location, but after that scheduling and getting prescriptions refilled is a breeze.

Horrible place. I took my little chihuahua there a couple years ago with teeth issues. He was very cold to us. He matter of factly asked if I knew she had a heart murmur. I didn’t. I was asking questions. He said it will shorten her life. I asked if there was anything I could do and he said no. That’s pretty cold. Again we had an issue with teeth. She’s 14 and fragile and is not a candidate for multiple anesthesia. We’ve been trying to handle things holistically because that’s better than doing nothing. A few days ago my dog was fine and happily chewing on her dental chew and starting doing something weird with her mouth. I thought she was choking and made sure her throat was clear. A couple days later I realized she had an abscess. It drained outward and we did warm compress every couple hours to make sure it was cleared and put coconut oil on it. To keep it clean. She eats while hand feeding but can’t drink because of the side of the bowl taps her teeth, so I’ve been using a syringe. I called to see if they can look at her and help us by giving her antibiotics and something for the pain. Once again they disappointed me. Refusing to see her unless she has a rabies shot. She is exempt for one. Second, even if she weren’t you NEVER vaccinate a sick dog. It’s dangerous. I wish there were more vets that saw each animal as an individual. Not just as a dollar sign or routine protocol.

Hi Tracey, Dr Mongil does not treat reptiles so we would recommend finding a veterinarian that specializes in exotic animals. If you would like to call us at 518-671-6000 we can give you a few phone numbers for veterinarians. Thank you

How do you know if your 7 year old beagle is going blind in his one eye? Does it happen overnight? it's blood shot and he can't really open it all the way and it's like cloudy I've been wiping his eyes with a warm wash cloth to keep it clean

Tush Tucker | Oct 2, 2019
Hudson Veterinary Clinic | Oct 2, 2019

The eye needs to be examined by a veterinarian to best diagnose him. We would be happy to see him for an exam, please give us a call at 518-671-6000 to set up an appointment.

They have a website and a Facebook page. You can contact them on either one of those. I don't think they will be open until Monday though. But they may do emergency visits if necessary. Sounds like your dog may need emergency attention.
