I gave birth here in January. My husband stayed with the whole time. As far as I know, they're still limiting to one visitor. If anyone else wanted to visit, my husband wouldn't have been allowed back is what the nurse told us. I didn't wear a mask pretty much my entire stay. There was one nurse who was assigned to me when I first checked in who said I needed to put it on when my provider came in, but I had been seeing my provider since 2020 with no mask, so I didn't put it on except when that nurse came in to check me. After shift change, not a single nurse after that said anything to me about a mask. I actually wore a shield (it rested on my chin and had ear straps) when I was being admitted and then they asked me to put it on just to transfer from L&D room to post partum. I labored and delivered with no mask.

If i recall til 8pm but no one is really turned away, front lobby is always open

You can record the immediate birth aftermath, but not the birth itself. Our delivery Doctor just told us so 5 minutes ago. 😊

I am so sorry to hear of your experience.. Mine was the complete opposite. When my mom had A bilateral stroke they were more than accommodating and informative not to mention putting everybody at ease That my mother would be able to to recuperate.. When you mentioned subjects such as cost in my personal opinion I think we can all the credit that to the insurance companies...
