We held my five year old grandson's birthday at the pavilion there. The kids were having so much fun that they didn't want to stop to eat. The playground is fun for all ages. There are ten tables under the pavilion so the adults had plenty of room to gather. The next day my grandchildren begged to go back. Great experience for all. You will need to reserve the pavillion for gatherings.

Awesome public park. Lots of space and different playground sets. The kids could play for hours and not exhaust everything there. Definitely worth a trip

Yes, there is lovely place for ride bike and play soccer in back side in ground. Awesome place to go with kids.
The temperature change caused the rubber surface to bubble up creating a tripping hazard. They're working on fixing it.
The entrance is free and it is very nice, I really loved it and the children's games are new 😁😁😁😁
If you would like to rent a room in the facility or the shelter it’s best to go inside and allow the front desk staff to assist you. You can also access information on the City of Raleigh website.
There are basketball courts and other rec areas inside, but no playground type stuff. The only indoor playground I can think of is greystone.
Not in the children playground area but there are walking trails that people take their pets around.
