A unique variety of animal accessories, food and snackies, but best all, there is always a dog looking for their forever home and Jenn and her mom have great customer service for people and animals alike! Great place to shop local and THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS! They are the best 👌

Is it had for seniors to adopt at tails of rescue.

No I would say senior would have a good chance. They have many small dogs that would be ideal for a senior. The staff here is super friendly.

I am moving and have lots of good stuff I am not taking. I am donating most of it to several local charities, however, I want to donate some of the better items to an animal charity. Will you pick up?

Please call

I have a mother cat and her two kittens. Mom’s a stray but domestic. Last I called haven humane, they were full. Who else can I contact to take in this family? I can’t afford to keep them as I already have 3 animals

It has been an extremely rough year for cats. We do not have any open foster homes at this time. Please do google cats rescues in the Redding area. If anyone has room jump fast and take the open spot. Sorry if no help

I just moved to Redding and saw this animal shelter. I don’t have a possibility to adopt. But I love animals and volunteering at shelters. I was wondering if it’s possible to come and play with the animals and “hang” Out with them? Or help?

Welcome to come in to talk and see if there is hours we can make work. We normally only do two hour shifts. The puppy/kitty snuggles spots do not come open every often. Open Tuesday-Friday 10-4. Thanks, Jenn

Anyone that can Foster and re-home 7-8week old kittens?

I am sorry we have a lot of kittens already right now in our care.

I have a stray pregnant cat around my house. She was skinny and started feeding her, however extremely skiddish. Does any place in Redding area help catch or can provide a trap to take her in to get the care she needs?

Might try Stillwater Cat Haven and a group named SNAP. If they help I am pretty sure they return the cat to you. We do not do feral cats or stray animals.

I found 3 ferrel kittens in our yard. Old enough to have been weened from mother cat. Young enough to domesticate. Do you anyone that can take them?

Pamela Fowler | Mar 26, 2019

I am sorry we have 33 kittens right now. We do not have any open foster homes at this time. Please do try other rescues in town.

Do you have a foster program ?

Lisa Hunter | Mar 26, 2019

Tails of Rescue is Foster based at night. We do have a store front which allows us to do daycare of the animals while fosters are at work or when needed. Also allows the animals to become extremely social with other animals and volunteers while at the store.
