You can call the county and they can enforce the rules
I'm sure you've tried the corporate office but if you haven't start there. The next step would be to go up to the city about the issue. The city typically has a certain code that needs to be met and they can help direct you any further on the matter. Just remember to continue to pay rent and document everything thoroughly or else it will make it difficult to make your case.
No. Contact the apts corporate office and contact the police. Also report the complaint to the apt association directly. If this doesn't work, get a lawyer. Retaliation isn't allowed at any level by anyone.
I don't think so
Hi Solomon Dolomon, I would document your findings(incl photos) and give them a final opportunity to make the necessary repairs. At this point, they cannot correct your move in conditions but take it into consideration. Complete your move in inventory completely, return but keep a copy. If no success, contact the management company. Good luck.
What is a Reletting fee
TAA or HUD. There's a booklet of Tenant Rights. TAA has them. They do come in handy.
The apartment association moved from the Midway location probably 2 years ago they're just further east 635. The new location is across from Valley View Mall and is just west of Preston
Nancy, an unsigned lease is generally not enforceable, so most landlords will set a specific amount of time before they consider the application cancelled and re-lease the apartment to someone else. There is no law on the subject that I'm aware of.
I have Renters insurance as required, but every tenant gets treated different. Such as having a senior resident move bc they took flowers off her patio & let others continue to put items in front of their Apts & not others She doesn't grasp the fact if you do for one resident, it has to be done for all residents. I can't afford to move on disability, but she wants me out. I will give this to God & not worry. I accept responsibility where it is due. Unsatisfied renter, but I'll be able to move someday.
No corporate, Family Living Trust. Owners parents. Meek Family Living Trust, dba Post Oak Crossing Apts in Sherman. I've been retaliated against, try to intimate, stolen medication, camera installed on bldg & not one person has knowledge of this trade to input opinions will be welcome. I was asked to move at the end of my lease. I've never been late, but don't want to dragged into Drama. My first violation notice, the manager accused me of a felony & went downhill from then. Any suggestions would be would appreciated.
