The Venture Trailer I bought 3 years ago is a complete disaster and a worhtless piece of junk: 1) The lights failed after TWO submersions,2) every nut and bolt rusted immediately 3) the wheel bearings make a grinding noise yet there are no grease fittings to allow added lubrication. Stay AWAY AND PAY MORE FOR QUALITY.

Needed parts for a 20 year old trailer. I contacted the parts department and could not have been better served. They found my exact parts numbers, a coupling of which I had chosen wrong on the parts sight, and shipped them just as they promptly. I could not be happier with the service and assistance they gave. This is how a parts department should be run. Kudos

This post addresses pontoon trailers only and does not speak for other marine trailer products manufactured by Venture. I'd rate this 3.5 stars if I could but overall quite satisfied with what I purchased (25' pontoon trailer) with some minor exceptions. I have a very small brake line leak which granted would be a one minute fix if it were not for the placement of the valve on the drivers side.(inexperienced employee). The bunk boards were fastened to the brackets without pre-drilling holes for screws at end of board causing a couple of ends to split (inexperienced employee). One axle was not square to frame. You'd be surprised what 5/16" out of square can do to a tire with 4,000lbs on it. Glad I checked before hauling the boat. This could have happened during shipping but I would think the dealer would do this. Support for the bunk boards is not enough. I put an extra bracket under each board (4) and re-set the others after walking around four different marinas and seeing how many busted boards there were on empty trailers. For an extra $60-80 it was well worth the effort. And the junk plastic covering Venture and many other mfctrs use to cover the pine boards should be discarded as they will rot the untreated lumber they cover. Take a couple days and oil or coat the boards with exterior grade urethane. Wax the ends with paraffin. The wench I felt was under rated but it is what most everyone else is putting on trailers this size as I looked around the Marinas. Twenty years ago it would have been twice the rating. It worked just fine though with little strain on strap. It all depends on how steep your ramp is and if you use what's between your ears when putting boat on the trailer. Lastly, I was not impressed with missing grommets where wires enter or exit some parts of the frame. Again, items I can address with little cost or effort. The upside of purchasing a Venture Trailer. The framing! You won't ever have to watch your frame collapse with your new boat on it because you hit a pot hole or curb. It's one of the best of good, better, best and the good of the good, the bad, the ugly. I converted mine to fit a tri-toon by welding a 2x3 aluminum tube down the middle and added brackets. Tows and supports the heavy Bennington just fine. And the tires they provide with the trailer are top shelf. No shortcuts taken there to lower production costs. Summary. If you are looking for an accident to happen go buy a poorly engineered, substandard quality, way over priced Yacht Club trailer. If you want to spend 25% more than you need to for at best 10% more quality then order one from Elkhart. I suspect Venture suffered like everyone else with production the past two summers due to covid. They have had to deal with supply shortages, training new help and trying to keep up with a marine market that exploded when it came to sales. Hopefully things will begin to normalize this coming summer. After researching every trailer manufacturer there was out there before making a purchase and looking at several in use, I came to the conclusion that Venture is still the "best bang" for the buck to anyone living east of the Mississippi.

Yes
They are a 4" spring link
That entire place is junk
I know that just want to know what the starting pay is
There should be no change as long as the size of the fire remains the same. Radial tires are tubeless you should have no problem with the belt. I've been at venture 8 years and am able to build whole trailers myself . I know them inside and out.
