My foreign car needed new brakes and I doubt want to spend a fortune. Thankfully found this mechanic who is excellent and super friendly. Definitely will bring my car for oil changes etc. I'd rather give my business to a local shop than a large dealer where you're just a number.

Do you work Mini Coopers? I am thinking of buying a 2007 John Cooper Works Mini 2 dr with 71K miles, 6 spd manual and turbo. I heard something about proprietary maintenance that can only be done by a dealer. Is this true?
