A service contract constitutes an agreement between a homeowner and an HVAC company to provide the homeowner, in exchange for a monthly or yearly fee, with access to certain maintenance and diagnostic services at no cost.

Most digital thermostats run on battery power. When the batteries get low, the screen will go blank and the heat or A/C may not work. Refer to the manufacturer’s instructions on how to chance the batteries in your thermostat. Ideally, you should replace your thermostat batteries once a year.
