Never get a hold of a live person. The recordings are a joke. Not helpful I need to talk to a person.

Completely incompetent. Continuously making mistakes with no regards to how they are affecting others. Utter failure.

Miss Roberts went above and beyond and even called back the next day to keep me updated. She has a loving spirit and a heart for the job she is doing. I hope she is recognized for being an exceptional employee, because she is!

Takes away from family's without even reviewing a case and absolutely no help at all .... It's shocking how these people even have their jobs

You can apply online. They will mail you paperwork then call you for a phone interview. Unfortunately this is very time consuming but doesn't necessitate going to the office.
Go in
Call the DHS office. Press one then press 8 to manage your case. It will prompt a hold line and tell you approx wait time. I have the best luck when I actually go to office. Hope this helps
Your same card will work even though the automated system has changed. There are additional ways to check your balance and order a replacement.
I don't know because I don't work with the State but I suppose you can spent in your utilities, or rent or medications.
No, the office is *not* open in observance of Veterans Day.

No
Any day as long as you are one of the first 15 people in line is what I was told from someone who works in that office on Lewis.
Who knows? I'd Google it. Was born in 60s. I don't recall any restaurant on Belvidere & Lewis. There was Obie's buffet on Green Bay & Belvidere where the OTB is...
Only once a year. They will send you a letter in the mail stating it is that time when your allowed to. Letter is usually sent three months prior to open enrollment
Just call them??! That's a JOKE! They don't answer the phone or return calls! I've been waiting 3 months for return calls! Get there early because lines are LONG!!!
