Looking for a new mountain bike. I wanted to buy local so we stopped in to look and buy. Went in and was never greeted. No one ever said hello be right with you. Nothing. Was looking at a Specialized or possible Giant. Instead went to Scheels and bought a Marlin 6… update to the review … we went back to Scheels and bought another Marlin 6 for the kiddo. Crazy how service in some places have gone down.

I wish I could give this place negative stars! It’s shops like this one that give cycling a reputation as an elitist boys club! The staff are not informed on anything other than sport bikes, and will do incredible mental gymnastics to avoid having to hear a mere customer explain anything and having to admit they don’t carry what you are looking for. I went with my parents on Sunday sep. 11 in the early afternoon. First, when we came in, even though it was not busy, no one bothered to greet us or acknowledge us in any way. Once we finally found someone and told them what we were looking for I only wish they had ignored us completely. I’m looking for a new upright, step through (dutch style) commuter bike, the kid didn’t even know what that was. Rather than letting us explain pulled a ladies beach cruiser and launched in to the most spectacular display of mansplaining I have ever witnessed as to why your foot shouldn’t need to touch the ground from the saddle (the real problem was that I’m short and he had trouble lowering the saddle stock for me to try the fit). I tried to explain how the upright riding position is different from the forward position commonly used in sport cycling but he kept interrupting me and insisting I didn’t know what I was talking about I eventually had to raise my voice to get him to stop and listen and warn him that he was causing offense. I pointed out another bike that was closer in style and geometry to what I was looking for, this time he did not even know how to lower the seat. Once WE pointed it out and went back to get the tool area to do so it was actually higher than the first one and he went back into his loop about a higher saddle being necessary. This time one of the other employees chimed in saying that I was “just like his wife” and began doing what appeared to be a highly insulting impression of a monkey on a bicycle though clearly he assumed I was saying that I wanted to be lower in a forward riding position and would not listen to my clarification. At this point I was seeing red! I snapped to the both of them “you know what I don’t feel like being insulted any further I’m done here” and stormed out. I will not be returning to this store or any other location ever again.

I went to nearly every bike store in the DFW metroplex in search of a gravel bike. This was the one of only shops that had anything in my size, and more importantly, the O-N-L-Y shop willing to take the time to help me understand what would be best for ME. Although they didn't have the exact bike I was looking for, they spent over an hour letting me test ride different brands, explaining the pros and cons of each. They even tracked my desired bike online and told me of another shop that had one in stock. I ended up having to drive a couple hours to get the bike I wanted. The next day I brought it into this shop to have them check my fit and purchase everything else I needed. They were excited I found my bike and eager to help. They walked me through all the accoutrement needed to be ready to hit the road and even set me up with some loaner pedals till my clip shoes came in. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you're looking for top notch customer service and a really awesome bike shop, this place is for you! Thank you team Cadence!

How much do extra large bike helmets cost

This is a very broad question, and the answer is it depends. All helmets sold meet federal safety regulations but will be more expensive the lighter they are, and can range from $20-$250 depending on what you buy and what features you want.
