Took a less than briefcase size Frye, leather satchel in and asked if they could "clean it up". The attendant looked at it and said "we can recondition it... for $125.00 I thought I had misunderstood what she said as I'm pretty sure the satchel didn't originally cost much if any, more than that. I asked what does that entail, reconditioning? "We recondition it, rub it out, you know, recondition". I said, did you say $125.00? She said, "yes, it's quite big, we do a lot of them". So, either I'm disconnected from reality (or maybe I had Covid and didn't know it?) or this little shop is catering to a clientele that I am not in the same league with. I for real, thought it would be in the neighborhood of $25-35.
