Tiffaney they will not help with rent at short-term hotels etc. But have been known to give some toward regular leases. You will have to bring your lease and when you come to the office. I cannot make promises but it is worth a try.

Please be very transparent on what you need. Meaning be very specific on what your needs are. Be very detailed. If you need furniture, beds, tables, dishes, clothing, toilet paper, whatever your needs arr they will be met. But it is a first come, first serve basis. You will be put on a waiting list for furniture. Love the questions, comments and concerns keep them coming.

If, by house hold needs, you are referring to items such as furniture and appliances I can't honestly say that they can help financially with those types of items. I know that they have furniture and appliances to give to those in need on a first come first served bases. I also believe, and forgive me if I'm wrong, the are able to help with partial monetary needs relating to rent and/or utilities. But security deposits on "house hold needs"? Maybe if it's something needed because of a disability or medical bases, beyond that I just can't say. I hope that answer is helpful and sorry if it's not.

You have to be from the area. Or, have a paper to grant you a pass to go in the store. Once you are granted in the store you have to have your picture ID, and the kids birth certificate and proof of address.

It's difficult to get through to mission Arlington by phone. Some can be rude at times. Going in person to get an answer may be more helpful to you. I doubt they get others mail. Consider getting a PO Box if it's affordable. The post office has been known to receive folks mail who are homeless. It's called general delivery.

Their medical facility has doctors, not surgeons.

DeMarcus they don't have apartments, hotel rooms, or housing. They also do not give any financial assistance for day hotels. If you have an apartment, they MAY give very small amounts to meet a shortfall (you must show your lease). The real benefit is the food support they give so you can apply those funds to your housing needs. And most of all the prayer and counseling they provide.

Usually our staff and volunteers are helpful and loving. If you had a bad experience, we are sorry. We hope to do better when you return.

I look for donation Living room furniture the reason I need it because I used the only money that had to my name i saved up that money so that I could buy me decent-looking furniture the the price is right maid it home the next day after fix my place just the way I wanted it but the next day I had all these bumps on my body It wasn't just one bumps they three bump in a roll all over my body it was so many bumps i got sick where I had to go to the hospital the furniture was full of bed bugs the good part is that the furniture was only here lass then 24hours they was able get furniture out and stared Treating my apartment right away and i am bed bugs free as for the people I brought the furniture no where to be found i had to save up a year and a half I am on a fixed income so I have no money or furniture.if there is someone out there that feel my pain help I would like you Sit down on something soft the foor is for siting on thanks may God Blesses you alll.

They have a medical clinic that's free but they open at 8. By the time they open you have to be in line some people get there as early as 2 and 5 in the AM and wait in line to make sure they will get seen. I went at 5 and was the last one to get seen if not you have to come back the next day and start all over. Depends on how many Doctor are available that day and how fast they can be seen. They can help you with the medication or substitute it for what they have in stock. If not they will give you a coupon for a lower cost to pay at that local pharmacy. After your initial consultation you must keep up with your appointments. I did the 5 AM and I did the follow-up. There after I have another follow up for later morning. Very sweet staff and excellent Doctor's and people!

They have a store in mission Arlington that has clothes when you go. I'd check on Facebook groups under free groups you can sign up. The strollers and stuff depends on what's available. Look at 5 miles under free as well as offer up

Good luck cuz if you go to their health clinic to get seen and prescriptions, they make you wait the entire day and let people go ahead of you on the list then you dont get seen. Had this happen 3 times to me and needed one prescription. Wasted my days off. Try JPS in Arlington, theyre much better.

They provide only time limited only and they only carry so much and certain ones as well if its for a child its better to get it at the health department
