Went in to buy a transit van through my company with the intent of buying on the spot. Couldn't have been an easier sale and I laid out all the terms and conditions before even scheduling my visit. These terms were agreed upon prior to my visit by Taylor, so I went ahead to schedule the appointment and close on this van. I made it very clear that this would be through my business only and would not be providing a personal guarantee or wanting my personal information involved. I was told this was no problem. My business routinely leases and finances capital equipment that are worth much more than a used transit van. After seeing the van and chatting with Taylor, I signed the deal to purchase the vehicle. I spent hours at this dealership and waited for them to complete the paperwork. While I was waiting, all the sales reps gathered in their meeting room and started cheering and having a prolonged hype session or something weird like out of Wolf of Wall Street. I kept waiting. After 3 hours at the dealership, I simply had to go and get back to my office and was quite frustrated that the entire sales team would rather have this weird hype session meeting than do actual work to finalize my paperwork. The sales manager came out and asked me when I'd be back - I told him I wouldn't, and he told me that he'd finalize the paperwork and bring to me at my office. Ok, fair enough. Then he texts me saying the deal can't be done without a personal guarantee. This was something I made very clear before arriving at the dealership. The business is very healthy, has established credit, and routinely leases/finances equipment worth much more than this van. The staff at this dealership seems super unprofessional and appears to be more concerned with having their cringe-worthy sales meetings & tactics than actually serving their customers. They completely ignored what I mentioned prior to my appointment just to get me into the dealership to close out a sale. Overall a total waste of my time and very disappointing.

Classic bait and switch don’t trust this company Westway Ford in Irving Texas are typical used car salesman they lie just to get you out there and try to sell you something that you don’t want at a price that you can afford

No they do not. They charge a 20k markup so I would go to a different dealers and transfer your existing reservation.

HMMM if you call not being able to get someone to answer the phone well yes I have had a big problem ! the absolute worst vehicle service department i have ever dealt with in 25 years of driving new fords !
Not really, they say they can do it, but then they will spray stuff in the intake and make it throw codes so you can't pass. They will yell you "sorry, my bad" and make you drive it 50 miles before they will try again
