A skid plate is a metal plate under most SUVs. It is placed there to protect the vehicle in case it scrapes the ground when used off-road. Skid plates will protect vital engine parts like the oil pan from damage. Some cars do come with skid plates
Billy, You will just need to change that setting on the screen in your car. Should be under vehicle settings and you can remove the speed safety notifications.
