Dr. Grin and his staff are great. For the first time in years I am not experiencing pain and it comes from Dr. Grin's efforts to listen and find solution after suffering from headaches and TMJ pain for years. His staff is equally great as they are continuously working with me to maximize my insurance coverage.

I have had problems with clenching my jaw and grinding my teeth since my 20's. In the past few years it had gotten so bad that my jaw just hurt all of the time. Dr. Grin fixed it! He replaced the night appliance from my dentist (designed only to protect the teeth) with one that would also protect my jaw. It has worked amazingly and I am now pain-free! He and his office staff are the best!

Went in for TMJ and found out I have arthritis of the jaw! Comprehensive treatment for both - knowledgable team, thoughtful treatment and follow-up, reasonable fees. Recommend highly!

Of course, it is part of my specialty. Burning Mouth Syndrome BMS is a chronic orofacial pain disorder that is defined by the International Association Study of Pain as "a burning pain in the tongue or other mucous membranes." Other names for this disorder are stomatodynia, oral dysesthesia and glossodynia. Although there is a reported predominance of BMS in post-menopausal women, it may occur at any age and can even affect males. Despite continuing research, there is no consensus on cause, pathogenesis, or even the definition of BMS. I do see many burning mouth syndrome patients in Torrance. Hope it helps. Dr. Paul Grin.

There is a range of conditions that can cause itchy lips but the most common is related to allergies. Other potential causes: shingles, neuropathic pain, anxiety, lupus, just to name a few. Hope it helps. Dr. Paul Grin.
