I went in to the Planet Fitness in Searcy after moving from California. I had a membership out there and I needed to cancel after being diagnosed with ALS. I spoke with Hayden and he was extremely helpful in getting the membership transferred to Arkansas and getting it canceled. I had signed up a few months before my symptoms started and liked it enough to get the premium membership. I thought they would give me a hard time but he was just very sympathetic and helpful. Typical planet fitness setup. This location is clean , friendly staff, not so busy. Just right for a nice quiet workout. It’s right next to the freeway so semi truck drivers are able to park and get a quick workout / shower. Also if you have the plus you get to enjoy massage chairs or a tan

It doesn't make that much sense to me or you but that's the price some people are willing to pay for the convenience of not paying every single month. Maybe they have the money now but know they won't later on in the year (ie Christmas shopping, having seasonal jobs etc). No one wants your bank account. ♀️At all.

Shady, they want access to that bank account... like a Nigerian Prince would.
They advertise as no contract. There was a membership form I remember filling out which has terms, mainly conduct related rules. The plan automatically bills your checking account monthly and you can cancel anytime without a penalty.
