I have been to Busiek on and off for quite a few decades and was disappointed to see it is closed. I just got off the phone trying to find out why its closed thinking it might be somehow due to covid. Boy was I wrong!!! I was told by this awesome officer that it is being repaired and rebuilt. The reason is because the last major storm we had destroyed the bridge, damaged the roadway in and also damaged the berms. They are working on it literally as we speak but our rainy weather has not been very co-operative lately. As soon as they can catch a break they are very close to finishing.

It’s busiek what can I say? Great hiking, water is amazing, so clear. Never been to shooting range but maybe soon. Who knows but I ask respect the property. Carter cemetery shows that people a long time ago thought property was amazing also. And still there today. The beauty they saw I’ve seen! Amazing. Great place for hiking and a lot more experiences. And of course absolutely free. If you or family love being outdoors, seeing what the ozark have to show, then busiek should be on list. Thanks

There is no range officer , just practice range safety and don't shoot yourself lol , when people need to reset targets all must stop shooting , the norm at any range and if u wanna tactical shoot I'd go early in the am so u have the whole range to use , it does get busy and there's only 25x2 50x2 100x2 , I go early sun am with my AK and .40 Cal
25 50 100 yards 2 side by side benchs there at each lane so its tight but works just be safe out there cause , sometimes it gets busy so you mite have a long wait or shoot next to someone , hopefully all practice good range rules and are safe as there is no range master babysitting for stupidity .....

Pleasant hope conservation has a range and you can shoot shotguns on their shotgun range is only one I've seen so far that allows shotguns
