Went for dinner. They gave us bread and butter. Bread was yummy and hot. Drinks came quickly. Waitress was friendly and polite. We ordered our chicken dishes and got them 5 minutes later. The pasta was too Al dente and sauce was watery. Vegetables were drenched in garlic and oil, fresh veggies but too much garlic. The chicken on my plate was ok but husbands was undercooked. How can we order and get fresh food 5 minutes later? You should cook dinner when it is ordered not pre cook it and send out to table in five minutes. Everything was salty and flavor less. I ate my pasta and took the rest home for my mom to reheat. They took other meal off the check. We gave a big tip bc it’s not the waitresses fault. Might I mention that the majority of the people there were senior citizens and the rest were drinking tons of wine and eating seafood or pizza. So perhaps the seafood and pizza are good but just the chicken is not? When people drink everything tastes like the alcohol so anything tastes good. The older we get the less we can taste. lol

All of there food is fantastic. Even the homemade soups are on point. I love garlic and so do they. Always get the grilled Caesar wrap. ITS PERFECT!! Their Margherita pizza is the best Ive ever had anywhere.

Not a good first time experience. After we sat it took 10+ minutes to see a waitress who displayed an attitude. Maybe she was not having a good day bur why take it out on us. Took forever to get our appetizers which tasted great but the food was pn the cold side. 20 minutes later she finally appeared to take our order. I'll make this short, 30 minutes later the food appeared with her nowhere in sight. No offering if we wanted more drinks. No managers in sight either and they were not overly busy.

This is the second time in 8 years that I have come here since I've lived in Merrick. Now I remember why. Let me start by saying the ambiance is lovely. The service was great. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had stuffed artichoke on the menu. That is one of my favorites if done well. Unfortunately, it was cooked in an immense amount of garlic. I like hints of garlic, but this was overload. The smell and 1 bite...well, I moved the dish aside. I could not eat it. I never told the waiter, and he never asked why I barely touched it. Waste of $13.
