This place is a whole lot different than the Citadel Downtown. Alex from Emergency Assistance had really helped me and my family with food and hygiene products. It's easier to get there because I took the route 4 bus and the route 41 bus. I really appreciate her took the time to help us in our time of need.

Very picky with donations. They went through my furniture and cherry picked the finest china cabinet and marble table, and the guy dragged my cabinet on its edge causing a long, deep scratch in my wood floors.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE. My order was canceled without notification. When I called to ask why my order was canceled, even though I received a confirmation call, I was told my items were damaged and wet. This is absolutely impossible as these items were just in my house. I also find it very concerning that the Salvation Army is not willing to take items of this quality to help others. It is one of the most disappointing things I’ve ever heard or read. I will be sure to get the word out that the Salvation Army is not helping people the way it should be and I will go to another service that does better for people. I will post the pictures of my items that are almost brand new so people can see what you have done, and how you have denied people in need of a good quality materials. I would never donate anything that is even questionable in use. I want people to have nice things. My items were pulled apart because I was told to take the items apart to help load the items easily. Again, for a company who is supposed to do well, this is horrendous. *** I will note that when I asked why, and stated this claim, they couldn’t explain the process or policies and hung up on my call. There was just a hurricane and people have absolutely NOTHING! You should be ashamed of yourselves! ***
