It was wonderful I really enjoyed it.

They refused to take a couch with additional section because it had grass on it from being outside from waiting on their delivery service. Perfectly fine brand new furniture that my gf bought before moving in with me. I will never again donate to this organization. I had spent many hours setting this up and scheduling my time to accomodate them.

If you’re expecting the same type of SVDP pricing and sales they have just 10 minutes north in Ohio, think again. All SVDP NKY locations are run by a different entity than the Cincinnati locations. There are NO sales to be found here. Where other stores have color tag specials or $1.49 clothing tags, this store has decided to make up pricing based on nothing but their own lack of judgment. Tops and Pants priced $3.99 and up, speciality “formal” wear priced $11+. All other wares priced as marked, including a raggedy moldy soup cup priced at $8. Yippee. Not only do they come up with the prices out of nowhere, they change them without changing signs or letting customers know in any way, shape or form until the transaction is rung up and placed in some other store brand’s bags. This is how I went from thinking I was buying $20 worth of clothes to near $40. Truly impressive math work from the associates they have working here. They also play favorites. If a regular comes in at any given time, you’ll hear them loudly discussing problem customers and hagglers without a care in the world. They set new merchandise aside for these regulars and openly flaunt doing so. Only reason I still go is because gas prices are too high to warrant a trip to Cincy when I can sometimes find a diamond in the rough here. But overall, this store needs a complete rehaul. NKY deserves better options for thrifting, especially considering the economic downturn.
