Yeah I don't get it. I think most people like it because it's an institution or a great photo spot. But it's basically impossible to find what you want. The signs telling you what floors are scribbled over, the stacks are super close together (not accessibility friendly at all), and just overall frustrating. If you want to purchase a book, I'd go somewhere else

Love this little slice of peace in the city. Best to have an idea of what you want because so many options it can be overwhelming. Three stories of just books old and new.. if you don’t like right spaces it might be best to take a few deep breaths before you entering.

Yes, don't just go to purchase used books....go to experience it. Don't miss the basement. I loved the chairs set up in corners for people to read a bit 😊
Selections aren't huge by any means but they always have unique finds and new things. Worth checking out for sure! The staff is always helpful.
I would recommend calling to ask! They get all kinds of new books fairly often.
Check in with them or call and they can tell you right away what they have. That section is a little small but they can also help or get more each week when they get inventory in.
