We tried every appliance repair on the internet in our city. None would work on Samsung. I decided to call Home Depot since that is where we purchased the appliance brand new. They said Samsung was one of those brands that no-one wanted to work on and suggested we try Sears. I thought they went out of business. I called the number Home Depot gave me. Sears was able to come out the same day and he was on time (even a little early). He diagnosed the problem and told us the cost of the motor starter or what use to be called a solenoid and that they were together and had to purchase the complete motor to get the bad part fixed. It was estimated at around $400 plus installation. The dryer was only 4 years old and out of warranty. We had nothing but troubles with this brand so decided to replace the whole unit with one we could get serviced-a Whirlpool dryer. We have two washers and dryers as we have a large house with multiple floors. We were dumb enough to buy two Samsung of each. We had trouble with both sets one a washer which had a recall but ended up costing us even though it was under warranty. Samsung had a problem and hired Dish Network to make repairs. We decided to replace the machine. That posed another problem Samsung would only honor the warranty if replaced with another Samsung product. Our unit was only 4 months old but they would only give us 2/3rds the cost for repairs. This was our first time taking it from Samsung. We decided it would be cheaper than full cost of another brand. This was on a replacement unit that now will cost more to repair than replace so we will replace with a whirlpool or Maytag. My advice is to NOT buy any Samsung appliances as their warranty sucks and it will break down. I mean what are the odds that you would have two separate appliances and both would need repairs costing over $400. They are a horrible brand for appliances

Came, opened the dishwasher, proclaimed here's your problem, need to run cleaner through it. Never broke out a tool one, multimeter, anything. Proclaimed if he had to come back and change the pump would be close to $600, might as well buy another new one. (This a couple yrs old) This was THE FIRST TIME I've ever used a repair person. Have always fixed everything; dryers, washing machine, refrig (except refrigerant) etc., myself. Just didn't want to mess with this. SSSOOOO... We did as the professional said, ran some cleaner through it, it's clean inside, so, now what? Now the heat dry element has stopped working as well that's what. Guess I'm pulling up YouTube and breaking out the multimeter to test the board. Save your money. Live better.

The men explained the issue with my washer and talked with me ! I didn’t feel like they were trying to up the price on me at all ! Very helpful and easy going guys ! Would use again and will recommend!
