I would give negative stars if I could. Moved to town a cpl months ago and mediacom was offered as a deal through our tv service. WORST MISTAKE EVER. Whole days will go by without Internet, which means no tv. We keep getting messages that we have exceeded our monthly allotment and they keep adding up charges for every 50 GB. As I’m writing this… no Internet. Ridiculous! How are these crooks in business??? Please DO NOT USE MEDIACOM! My bill was over $350 last month for shotty, SLOW, unreliable internet. And the guy that came and installed it was miserable and kept saying he hated the company. Should have been a red flag. Whatever you do DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH MEDIACOM.

Awful. I've had dial up that's more consistent. Had them for over a year now as there were not many options at the time and can say it's absolutely not worth the money. Pay attention to the bad reviews.Do NOT use the company if you're going to be working from home. Also don't expect it to stream any media, endless buffering even if your paying for what are supposed to be the highest speeds. Will definitely be looking elsewhere now that there's all the new fiber optic that's been installed in the area.

Mediacom is a joke, why do they need to be at my house every two weeks and I only have internet once every three weeks for about four days, intermittently at best why they just refuse or cannot supply basic functionality of their network for the over inflated price I pay month to month?

The problem with mediacom they always want to raise the price For the same Internet speed that you currently have and the only way to save money you need to downgrade your Internet speed This is not cool

Equipment replacement Thursday morning but tonight is Major fiber optic cable outage yet-to-be-determined Arizona Southern California. Last time fiber optic was cut was a 13-hour outage. This is a national carrier Mediacom leases lines from.
Try calling the 800 number. They may be able to get your account info based on the service address. You then may be able to pay over the phone.
Yes a line in krammer junct was cut all net and atms etc running through mediacom infrastructure at least

I agree! You are not the only one to have these problems. I have had the problems also. The biggest issue is that Mediacom does not have competition in Ridgecrest. When another company comes with good service and friendly customer service it will push mediacom right out.

Yes, I have never experienced such horrible service as when I was with Mediacom. Internet was out consistancy at least 3 nights a weeks, for 6 hours or more. Worst company ever.
