I got my eye exam and selected the frames I liked. The down side is I told the store rep I wanted the progressive. with transitions lenses and tint. The same as the ones I was wearing. I picked up my glasses on a Monday, wore them a few days. I was in the sun several hours and the transition lenses never changed. Also the glasses seemed off while driving, thats because there was no tint. I'll fast forward. By Sat I went back to see if this was fixable. The lady rep pretty much was saying NO to the fix, NO to a refund and it would take approximately 30 days. I'm so glad the gentleman that was also working chimed in and submitted the refund request. To the lady: this was not my 1st rodeo for glasses and if I'm paying my money, I m paying for what I ask for...I was not going to settle on a pair of eye glasses that I'm not happy with. This is what I get for trying to do business closer to my home.... sorry but not sorry.

Their prices are nothing special. They have overinflated 'list' prices so they can have 50% discounts. Net pricing is comparable to most places. Having said that, they do take my insurance. Delivery is a big issue. Seems unnecessarily slow. My trifocals have taken two weeks both times I've used Visionworks Legends. I miss the Eyemart Express I used in Texas. Okay, a followup on my glasses. Instead of emailing all my information like the response asked, I called the store to find out what was going on. Here it is Friday the 3rd of June and the glasses were supposed to have shipped last Friday (27th of May), arriving on Tuesday (31st of May - delayed because of Memorial Day.) I called today (3rd of June) and son-of-a-gun, my glasses are in and I should have received a text message on the 25th of May (That's 10 Days Ago, Folks!) that they had arrived. No text, no followup call, and nobody found them when I called on Saturday the 28th of May (That's 3 days after they arrived!). For this I have lowered my rating one more star. Sorry Visionworks, I REALLY miss the service of Eyemart Express.

I have been wearing glasses for 55 years now. Since I was five, and I have never had the horrible service I had here. I have purchased from Visionworks many times and have had great experiences. But this location was horrible. The technician that helped us select glasses gave no input, did a horrible job measuring and could not seem to care. When we went back in to get the glasses the man who waited on us had us stand by a mirror, we tried on the glasses and he tried to shuffle us out the door. I complained and we finally sat down but he did nothing. No testing, no confirming the subscription was correct, nothing. We left the store and when I got home and sat in front of the computer I could read nothing. There was no focal point. These glasses are worthless and will be returned. I will not go to this horrible store though. I will take them to Oak Park Mall where I have always had a good experience. The Legends location, run, run fast. Not from Visionworks, but definitely this store. Maybe it is just the weekend crew but that store better get it figured out. How many people have already given up on Visionworks because of those two? Save yourself time, money and heartbreak. Go somewhere else.

We have followed Ralph from the Oak Park Mall store to this one! He’s the best. Good advise and accurate measurements. Have trusted him for years with all of my family. Jen is great there too, however. We are customers forever.
