Doctor Zavoyski is a rare gem, a surgeon that combines technical excellence, compassionate communication and understanding. I researched 4 physicians, interviewed 3 personally highly recommended surgeons, and decided to trust my anterior hip replacement with Dr. Zavoyski, in which, right at our first consultation didn’t push to proceed to surgery, but rather, laid out the issues in ways that spoke louder along with his expertise and integrity. Two months went by, I was in excruciating pain, then I decided to perform the surgery. Everything was perfect, more that I could expect, not only his private practice is well kept and organized, but also his great team of doctors/nurses at Bethesda Hospital East, the post care, exercises, physiotherapy starting on the same day of the surgery, and more, leaving to go home next day. Dr. Zavoyski answered all of my questions, showed his full commitment to his craft to not only my well being, but also to achieve full recovery. I’m an avid Bikram Yoga, 30 years and 4 years off/on Pilates practitioner. I’m delighted with the care I received at every stage and the pace with I have regained endurance and functionality. NO pain after surgery, Walker only for 2 days, no cane, took only Aspirin 325mg, walking slightly with a limp for 8 days from the surgery, and my girlfriend Mary, that I adore, as support system took me to a better than expected recovery.
