Awful location. Rented at this location and dropped my keys off in the drop off box at the end of my rental on a Sunday to avoid a second trip of having to drop the car off the next day. After a couple days, I noticed that I had not gotten an email receipt when they close out the reservation and needed to submit the receipt to my work as this was a business trip. I called the store to inquire why and they told me that I had not yet dropped the keys off. After explaining that I already dropped the keys in the box, and to check the box again, I was essentially accused of lying. I also noted that it would make absolutely no sense to lie as the car was obviously parked in the Hertz parking lot? They then seemed to have magically found the keys without any apology. Would advise to not use the drop off box and to avoid this location at all costs.

I just received a call from Hertz 10mins before going to pickup the car that I booked with Hertz 2-3 weeks ago. They informed me that they do not have any cars available and to figure it out on my own. Because of that, I had to cancel and book with Avis (costing me triple the cost). I had to reschedule my meeting that I had planned which messed up the entire business schedule. My recommendation would be to never book with Hertz - especially at this location. This is the 2nd time that this has happened to us. The first time we figured was just a one off, but this time, it's unacceptable and has cost me out of pocket. Everyone should be aware before booking with Hertz. I would give 0 stars if I could!

Literally the best place to rent a car from. I hope corporate reads the reviews because John was amazing. We had a scheduling conflict and he solved it instantly! He also made AMAZING reccomendations for what we could do in KC! Thank you John! We WILL BE BACK!

Got a great car at a decent price. I believe I've way rentals should be a lot less though ask the companies seen to charge double? My overall experience was as expected, Smith and easy to my rental call was ready to go! Thank you

Questions & Answers

Why didn’t they put car damages of car down? Has cracked windowshield, smells like smoke STILL, the passenger window sticky. Rented a full size definitely not what we got. And they took all this extra money on a hold for some reason... grrrrr

The extra money on hold is on all rentals and releases usually midnight day of return. Can avoid this sometimes if a gold memeber and use a Visa card to rent. The walk around is the customers responsibility as well

I wouldn't leave your car there. Not the greatest area. Have someone drop you, or get an Uber/Lyft, if you can. If possible, avoid this rental location completely. It is dreadful. Liberty or the Airport Hertz are worth the drive. Two reservations within two month's, DIDN'T HAVE MY CAR EITHER TIME, and didn't bother to call me to let me know so I could go ahead to the locations that ended up helping me.
