The trail for the most part is well marked. It's a loop that at some point your going to cross a rock shallow creek. Plenty of shade. Great for dogs and energetic toddlers. Not for strollers or anyone with balance issues

Love this series of hikes available at this trailhead. There are things available for all skill levels, but not all mobility levels.

Thanks to all of the volunteers who are working hard on these trails. Fanning has a few miles of trails right in the heart of Jones Valley. No excuses for not being able to get outdoors and enjoy the preservation work the Land Trust has done in Huntsville!
