This was my first time at James pond during bear weekend. Absolutely had a wonderful time! Everyone was super friendly and the pool is awesome! Can't wait to come back again!

It has been one day since leaving Jones Pond and we are itching to get back. It truly felt like a home away from home. A great community feel with pleasant, courteous people both guests and seasonals. Beautifully maintained grounds, a great sized pool, meticulous clean bathrooms, and fun planned events. The cafe on site is a treat! Delicious foods at a reasonable price, in case you didn’t want to cook. The owners take pride in this campground and it shows. If you are in area or looking for a gay campground to visit, look no further. Jones pond is truly a wonderful place to be.

I have been to Jones Pond twice. Both times were wonderful. I am in my 30's and I came alone my second time. I tent camped in the 500's and then the 600's as I prefer to be in the trees, but there are more open, communal, field tenting sites with water, fire pits and electrical. I enjoyed being able to charge my devices while still enjoying the woods. Everyone from he staff to the guests were insanely nice to be around. I brought my dog (who is trained and obedient/does not bark) and had no problems enjoying the property with him by my side (not in the pool or the restaurant). Unless I struck gold twice, I cant imagine anyone having less than a wonderful time here. The shop is stocked with all the things you will forget to pack and they can deliver wood right to your campsite if you dont have a vehicle proper to haul it.

I have been a camper at Jones Pond for multiple summers. The campground is stellar, the bathrooms are clean (with running water, showers, the whole nine yards) and the activities they plan are SUPERB including dances, Bingo, and so much more. I love that the space is clothing optional (I always opt for full nudity to embrace my inner nudist) and that everyone can feel comfortable wearing as little or as much as they wish. The pool is a great communal space to connect as is the various small gatherings that are hosted by individual campsites (some officially and some unofficially). The guys who visit Jones Pond are overwhelmingly kind, welcoming and fun. You'll find guys of all ages and a nice healthy mix of Canadians and Americans (it's so awesome to share perspectives and get to know your neighbours). If anyone has other questions about Jones Pond, you are more than welcome to reach out to me personally on Instagram or Twitter as well and I'm happy to help you out.

You can check all the themes for weekends at camp website: www.jonespond.com There are several nearby attractions that change week to week. The front office has literature on many, from the Corning Museum to local fairs and festivals.

Honestly I don't think there's anything happening during the week. Is usually from Friday to Sunday when people actually show up unless you just want to enjoy nature. I will be there this weekend for leather weekend.

Any age restrictions? I'm 70 but look 60 and act 50.

Everyone is super friendly and it is non judgment over the godless of how old you are or how big or small you are. Lash now he doesn't matter either. Definitely a safe space. Went once and definitely plan on going again.

Yes. There are a few cross dressers that regular here. Ironically, the less convincing you are, the better you are recieved generally. If you look too much like a woman it starts to raise concerns.

Yup!

What is it like during the week? Would you need to supply your own food and wood ? No pun intended ;)

I think you can still get wood, but the cafe is not open during the week.
