This was the most horrible experience ever in life Bed bugsWoke up at 3:00 in the morning scratching my face found a bedbug as big as my pinky nail just sitting on my pillow. Went to the front desk long and short of it is they could care less as a matter of fact they made it look like I never stayed there at all on my booking site. So much so i had to come here to leave a review here instead of there ....... can you actually believe the hotel owner had the audacity for that response today's date is July 6th I stayed at that hotel on the 24th of June I was only in Barnwell for my grandmother's 90th birthday we wanted to surprise her to say that I stayed another day is sickening I left your hotel at 8:00 in the morning with my son and my granddaughter we ended up at a huddle house because it was the only thing open then we were at Walmart for a birthday card and God loved the universe guess who was there picking up a couple of things before her birthday started my grandma and grandpa so we had a place to go so when I tell you people we were at my grandma and grandpa's at 9:00 in the morning in Barnwell after a lovely visit since I hadn't been to sleep since 3:00 in the morning and also had to get cream from her for my face and my arm for which I sustained 10 yes people 10 bites and above my eye when I tell you I spent the next 3 days swollen because I am highly allergic I took Benadryl every 4 hours along with Excedrin Migraine when I say it was the most horrible experience ever I have no agenda but to warn people do not stay at this hotel and I won't remove anything Mr Hotel manager respond to that and Trust I will add more to this story because there is more

For the price, it was good and the employees were very nice. However, there seemed to a shortage of towels that never got resolved and no water in the vending machines or inside. The room was 4 out of 5 in cleanliness, but the toilets on both rooms were super short and the beds were towering high. You had to leap and jump onto the bed,which with slick comforters on top led to my grandmother almost hurting herself. The pool is nothing to cry home about. it is small and bakes out in the sun. Needed at least one extra chair in the rooms.

Positive: Clean room, comfortable bed, micro and fridge in room Negative: Toliet is very low, people with knee issues have trouble. Stated on website that breakfast to go was included, staff stated they haven't done that in a long time.

Room was clean and cozy. Staff went above and beyond to help me with finding a lost item after I had stayed there over two weeks ago!! Thank you to the amazing staff for contacting me as soon as you were able to find the item!
