I I have very mixed feelings, but overall I don’t think I would go back if I could do it over. Went to them per recommendation of BHLDN (where I bought my wedding dress) and I had gained some weight between my first and second fitting, maybe 6-7 months apart, and immediately got passive-aggressive vibes from the main woman I was working with (darker, short hair). She wasn’t mean, just made me feel like my 10 lb weight gain was an inconvenience to her. Added more fabric where I asked, but it just wasn’t well done and was loose around the hem on my back, like the fabric itself was correct but the hem just drooped down (should’ve been fitted). My strap also snapped about halfway through my reception just while hugging someone, which they shortened for me so obviously wasn’t well secured. When I picked it up, the straps also weren’t trimmed properly so you could see the excess on my back (was white organza material so very apparent) and another girl just cut the excess off - I asked her to do it because it looked bad, but I don’t know why they thought leaving the excess like it was was okay in the first place. I also have a strong feeling they didn’t actually do a majority of the alterations until my very last fitting, which I can understand to a point, but if something changed hasn’t been correct (e.g. the back hem) they wouldn’t have had time to fix it.

I got my wedding dress tailored at Silver Moon and would recommend for any other bride. They were more than willing to do as many fittings as needed for me to feel 100% happy with my dress. They did really high quality work for an affordable price. I felt so confident on my wedding day thanks to the perfect fit from Silver Moon!

Silver Moon did a great job altering my BHLDN dress to fit me perfectly. I'm only 5'1 so I was nervous with how much fabric would need to be removed, but it ended up looking amazing! They took out layers to make it less heavy, shorted up the sleeves and raised the shoulders for me quite a bit. I'm so happy with how it turned out! The seamstresses were all very prompt and friendly. Highly recommend.
