WoW what a difference a year makes The new/restored visitor center is very nice You can also do a self-guided or ranger tour of the property. It also does an exemplary job of representing the true Pullman. Definitely worth a stop.

I went to the museum yesterday with my grandson, and I was very disappointed. They had a lot of stuff to read but I thought it would be more visual. An exhibit says a thousand words. The whole experience took all of 10 minutes. I, wanted to see more about the Black Porters, and the injustices they endured. A special section should’ve been reserved just for them. And they could’ve made a least one train car like it was in the past. After we left, I look at the whole building, and it is about a block long, so they do have room to grow. I can’t see anyone traveling from New York or California or any other state coming here to see this Exhibit, it’s really not worth it. But I know it can be much, much better. Thank you everyone for your efforts. But I know it can be better. This can be the jewel of Chicago. But, if this is all that the budget allows. Then that’s that….and never mind.

What are the hours for thr Pullman Museum?
The National Monument covers the entire neighborhood; there's no open or closed; it's a town. The Visitors Center and Pullman State Historic Site have hours.
