The bank manager doesn’t like working with elderly people who have had financial setbacks. He is a rude person. US Bank is a good company overall but you should think twice about working with the willows branch.

I went to US Bank in Willows, CA to open a checking account on 8/19/2020. I had a $22,000 deposit! They turned me away because I didn't have an appointment; they didn't offer to help make that appointment while I was there (they wanted me to leave and make an appointment) - even though I explained I had traveled 2 hours to get there. They were rude, unprofessional and ended up opening an account across the street at Umpqua, where they treated me like a human being. Imagine that???!! I can't believe how I was treated so insignificantly - and this is a consumer-facing business. I can't understand why they would turn someone away - there was NO ONE in the bank. 4 employees, none of them were busy. If I could give -5 stars in this review, I would!Hello Susan, I can only imagine how frustrating this visit was for you. After driving for 2 hours I know I would feel the same way.
