Empty. Ghost town. A whisper in the wind if you will. Bass Pro Shop was the only store I saw any cars in front of and you couldn't get to the mall from inside Bass Pro Shop. COVID has ruined many brick and mortar retailers and this is a stunning visual reminder of the implications of mask mandates and lock downs on the current economy.

2 tier carousel that is lovely and old. It wasn't operating, which was the only reason I went. Amazing encounter!

OK, where to begin. We've lived in Savannah for about 7 years, and I used to come to this mall when I was in high school over 20 years ago. I've always lived the set up and the carousel. It's a great 80s/90s style mall... That is, until about 5 years ago or so. The stores that are left? Great stores, friendly staff. People who are trying to make a good living. But the management of the mall is horrible. The parking lot looks like a post-apocalyptic horrorscape. There are stores without air conditioning because mall management won't fulfill their end of the bargain. It's quite shocking. I still want to encourage people to go to this mall, because the stores in there need your help, but the people of Savannah need to really in support of those buildings being treated fairly by their landlord. That's why I gave it a 2 instead of a 1.

Actually when I first walked in, it was completely empty and devoid of all life..I was prepared to defend myself against the zombie horde, but then a kindly woman informed me that it was just down because of a week long power outage and that the Bass Pro Shop was indeed open but I needed to travel around the outside of the mall to the other side to get there. Still considering the history of Savannah, v it would have been cooler if she told me it was haunted and ghosts took everyone out...

Its very empty, so if it's covid that you're worried about, you have nothing to worry about. It's practically a ghost town
No, Savannah Mall doesn't have any pet store that sells hermit crabs!😢
Yes there is one
Soon if things don't change.. But I'm not positive...
Thanks Luis, I visited the mall this afternoon. The Christmas is up.
Go to the Oglethorpe Mall it's not that far away and there's a hot topic there, and to answer your question: no i don't think there will be.
I didn't see any.
As far as I can see online , they don't have a location in Savanah. Jacksonville would be the closest location
Claire's?
I think the only thing open is still just the Mexican restaurant that's doing takeout
There is a movie theatre across the street. It is not in the mall.
I don't work for the mall.
On the roof you idiot
No. Just sell the accessories. There's a place on Abercorn St. That fixes cell phones....
Yes Ifixandrepair store is there
Depends normally it says on the directory and if not I heir mall cops
It was open last weekend but was told that enough people had to be there to ride at one time before they would turn it on. So maybe during busy hour times it wouldn't be a problem.
No, you don't need pictures of the AHU.
More than likely VENTILATION!! Could be just architectural also.
There are a few banks close to the mall as stated by others. Plus a Wal Mart in close distance, which is possibly the most inexpensive option for check cashing in the area
It's the Easter holiday
Since my child is older now, I have no need to use the area. But there was security at that time.
I would guess all of them as it is Christmas...but try looking on line at the particular stores you are interested in
No, but there is two movie theaters behind the mall.
Yes it was really great! My kids enjoyed themselves and that made me happy! ☺
