I've been living at Walker Woods for about 5 months now. I have been very pleased. Maintenance is super quick in emergency and non emergency situations in helping fix things around the apartment. Kayte is very helpful at helping us get established and she is very knowledgeable on all the fun things to do in the Vero Beach area. I felt very welcomed, and they even provided a house warming gift which was a very nice touch. It is a very nice area and well priced compared to other complexes in the area. They are pet friendly. The area is not too noisy. Neighbors are considerate and not too loud. I would recommend living here. I do recall the application process is pretty extensive with a lot of back and forth with the landlords, but it is definitely worth it! They are VERY on top of enforcing rules so read the lease carefully.

I just moved out from Walker Woods after a little over 1 year. It was by far the best apartment for the price that I've lived at. The maintenance team were kind and helpful. I never had any maintenance request last too long. The longest one took about 2 weeks but that was because they had to get new vinyl ordered for the entry way because it was bubbling. They were out to look at it the day after I put my request in. The complex is by no means "luxury" but it was well maintained (inside and out) and clean. I would walk the complex circle almost nightly and people would sit out on their front stoop and they were friendly as well. Front office puts on little resident events. Some seem a little corny, but I'd rather have a complex that showed some appreciation rather than nothing. My biggest "complaint" was that the layout of the apartments had some wasted space and too many doors in the bathroom for 2x1 for me. If you are looking for something affordable because you live just outside the income based housing but don't want to spend 50% of your paychecks on rent, this would a great place to live.

Well maintained property when viewed from outside but cleanliness issues when it came to rent an apartment. The manager's inventory check list did not match on four categories the actual cleanliness condition of the apartment I had just rented: filthy tub, dirty windows, dirty front door, A/C low battery, dryer with no hose, a spider web on the kitchen's ceiling, and walls around the front door covered by dead pests. Lack of timely responsiveness from the manager of this property, M.M. The manager asked me to send her the inventory check list after 11 days from renting the apartment. Why so late? Things started to be fixed only after I requested services via the residential portal. Information sent via email to the manager was not acknowledged. A new resident who just moves in should not have to request services per entering an apartment.
