My business, Hostel Obispo, had a water leak in the wall behind the shower. 911 Restoration came out in a timely fashion and the employees were very nice. They set up two dehumidifiers and two fans and said that they would run them for 3 days. Later that day I noticed that one of the dehumidifiers didn't seem to be on. I called and they assured me that it was on. When they returned 3 days later they acknowledged that one of the dehumidifiers had not been running for the 3 days. So they had to set it up and then run that humidifier for another 3 days; so the 3 day job took 6 days which is a big deal when I have guests staying at the hostel and these machines are not quiet - especially while trying to sleep. When I got the bill it was almost $5000! Maybe that is the going rate but wow that's a lot of money! I went through the bill very carefully and noticed that they had double charged me for some services, and they charged me for services that they didn't even do. I called in and they were kind enough to go through the bill with me, corrected their mistakes, and in the end they reduced the bill by almost $1000! I will say that they were kind enough to give me over a month to pay the bill. So, in the end, I recommend that you closely monitor the equipment that they set up, discuss with them what services they will be charging for, and very carefully go through your bill to make sure it is accurate. PS I am posting this review through my wife's Google account; my name is Jarred Partridge and I am the owner/manager of Hostel Obispo.

In the beginning they were responsive and took out the walls that had water damage and mold but then stop coming back and never finished the job. Then weeks later trying to reach out to them I found out the people working on my house quit. Instead of sending someone else to put the walls back and finishing the job they send me a bill and I had to seek someone else to finish the job. Overall wasn’t the best experience and I felt things were not handled well.

911 did a terrible job, were late in doing it, were highly misleading on requirements for asbestos mitigation, over-charged. It was a miserable experience all the way around!

We have relocated and needed removal of hazardous waste in the form of a chemical trap that was installed under a sink by the previous occupant. The fumes were noxious and seemed to be intensifying. 911 Restoration was able to accomplish this within 24 hours after contacting them. Manuel was professional, courteous and I readily endorse them for your cleanup/restoration projects. Thanks again for your help! Warmly, RJ @ MIRACLE EAR of Santa Barbara
