A fairly easy loop hike, with a vast array of wildflowers, glade and woodland, as well as lizards, snakes, scorpions and birds. A favorite place to getaway from St. Louis for a morning or afternoon.

Was looking for a place to stretch my legs and maybe exercise my camera a bit, and this little trail was the perfect opportunity; short hike through what will be a beautiful area when things green up, I can't wait to go back in a couple months and capture some great vistas.

Great easy-to-moderate 3 mile hike with pretty views overlooking the hillside. The trail is well maintained and well marked. There are nice water features if you visit after it rains. I have hiked this trail several times and always enjoy it. You experience different features depending upon the time of year you go.

It's a 3 mile loop
Yes you can bow only and there is a point restriction. At least 4 on 1 side
The lake just off the trail there is on private property. You can wade in the creek when the water is up in the spring. Best time to visit is late spring and early ummer for flowers in the glade and winter for ice formations
