We had a very comforting and informative information session with Lynn Reakes, Pre-Need Advisor. All of our questions were thoroughly answered and many others that we had not thought of were also brought up for consideration and answered. At no point did we feel pressured and we did end with a profound sense of relief and of being prepared. We highly recommend the Neptune Society just as we were highly recommended to it by others. I am the estate executor of my long time bestie of 30 years. 12 years ago, he pre-arranged his final event by choosing the Neptune Society of Fort Lauderdale/Plantation. He passed away this month of September of 2022. I alerted the Neptune Society office and within a few hours they immediately began to execute the process of all the arrangement directives given by my friend. I was highly impressed by their caring and effective diligence in this matter. If you choose to be cremated, I highly recommend them.

A funeral director does not need to handle the ashes. Usually they are provided to the loved ones for a scattering, burial, keeping at home or a number of other options.

Yes, you can still donate organs prior to cremation. We coordinate with all Tissue Banks. However, most organ donations take place at the medical facility where the death occurs, and the hospital arranges for the donation before turning over the deceased to us for cremation
