To call Kathy and Michael Nerrie the owners of this remarkable property is misleading as they are its wise stewards openly sharing this resource with all. They are a model of how all of us should strive to treat the land and all the forms of life that are sustained by it.

Absolutely beautiful gardens and trail. Michael and Kathy have put genuinely so much love and passion into the space. Yes, the trails are easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The parking for the walking trails are just before the entrance for the garden parking.
Thank you for your interest in Distant Hill Gardens. Most of the gardens, and all of Distant Hill Nature Trail, is wheelchair accessible. The Distant Hill Geology Trail, however, is not. And we just added a wheelchair accessible restroom.
