If my CDL licence expires before I am able to get a physical is there a penalty?

Bridget Bills | Sep 30, 2021

DO NOT LET IT EXPIRE ! Once it expires you wont get it back. If you do want it back you'd need to retake everything like you did the first time you got your CDL.

Yes, they require one on whatever vehicle you drive. If you require the ignition interlock, you must be using it in whatever car you're driving. I found the policy at dld.utah.com/iid/
