If you have any medical issues other than addiction DO NOT GO HERE. Food: Its a grade above dog food. They mask the horrible quality by making everything spicy. There is one hot meal option per meal time and if you couldn't eat that you were out of luck. The kitchen staff did not wear gloves, masks, or hair nets. They were constantly nasty and looked down upon the residents. Staff: Most of the staff is alright but don't care nor deal with any issues that arise. Piccarri talked about being humble and having respect. Yet, he showed no humility nor respect to any of us "clients". He even denied me my medication at times. Rooms: You are given one very flat pillow and sleep on a horrible mattress. Some of the rooms have bunk beds to ensure they can fit as many people as possible. All of the rooms have a shared bathroom. Bathrooms: Pretty standard, toilet and shower with two sinks in-between. If your lucky you'll have a resident pull his mattress into yours every night to sleep on the floor and keep you up all night. The director and staff were made aware of this and did nothing to stop it. Medication: The entire time I was there they couldn't get my medicine schedule correct. It was so bad that at one point my blood pressure was 191/138. Very Not Good. 90% of the "clients" are either court mandated or using it as a secondary option to jail. Which is entertaining because it's run like a prison. The only saving grace this place had was my counselor. Dan was amazing and legitimately cared about his "clients". In summation, if you have private insurance or can afford to go somewhere else... go somewhere else!

I'm afraid that we are not allowing inperson visits at this time because of Covid-19 restrictions that are required. You can request to speak with a person in treatment by calling our main number and providing the operator with your name and the name of the person that you would like to speak with. If the person is in treatment with us and would like to return the call, it will be arranged for through their counselor. This may also include facetime through our telehealth platform.
There is no visitation on sundays
Yes. They do.
Yes. Jail mail used to be forbidden but supposedly thats not the case anymore.
You can stay on methadone your entire stay there, however you just cannot adjust your dose while in treatment, meaning you cant raise or lower your dose during your stay. I do not think they do detox off of methadone, I'm not 100% sure about that, but I do know that they do detox (taper) you off of suboxone
Usually their only allowed 1 phone call per week, pretty sure holidays are included.
On the adult units you may bring your own cigarettes, however smoking is only allowed at designated times of the day. Cigarettes are kept by staff and given to you only at the designated times. Cigars (including little cigars, Black and Milds, etc...) are not allowed at any time. E-cigarettes or any kind of vapor device are not allowed at any time either. This is probably to prevent someone sneaking THC juices. Only allowing a sealed e-juice bottle be brought would solve that issue, however the rules were made with ignorance and apathy. (They even reccomend cigarette smokers show up with no cigarettes so they could quit there with patches.) Lolololol, clearly someone who never struggled with addiction came up with such absurdly horrendous advice. Obviously, no cigarettes, nor any other tobacco/vapor products are allowed on the adolescent unit. No cellphones are allowed on any adult or adolescent unit at any time.
Yes. Packages are sent from families that can include cigarettes.
Check the how do I pay for treatment section of the web site or contact our access center directly.
Call our main number and choose option 3 for our access center. They will work to help you.
Thank you for reaching out. This information has been passed along to the clinical team. They will confirm that he is a client, and if a release is signed, you will receive a call from the counselor.
To send to an inpatient person include: * the cllients name * the clients unit, adult or adolescent * the counsleor name if you know it * the address New Hope IBHC, 80 Conover Rd, Marlboro NJ 07746
Yes, we can accomodate that; call so we can get a better idea of what your objectives are. 732-946-3030 option 3.
We are very sorry to hear you had such a bad experience but we have no client history on file that fits with these experiences. It may have been at another rehab center. If you are sure it was New Hope, please call 732-946-3030 and ask to speak with an administrator.
No. There is a community room with TV and Movies.
They have kind of a dorm atmosphere. Reasonably sized room for two people with a bathroom. Not fancy but comfortable.
My prayers are with you
There is a lot of information on their website. This is the link for admission info. https://newhopeibhc.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Adult-Admissions-letter-Rev-9-16.pdf
I went to the 48 hour program. They didn't accept insurance for that. But as far as the detox center, they might. Look at the back of your insurance card. There might be a behavior health phone number, call that number and they will tell you.
New Hope offers pickup for their Marlboro location from the Freehold Bus Station or the Matawan Train Station. Please call to make arrangements.
Federal law requires that a patient provide a specific written request to have knowledge or any records of treatment released. For more information you can reach our medical records office at extension 2613.
I'm not sure. Call
Yes I am 99.9℅ sure they do and also believe they will be able to just walk in as long as they have room for you.
