Ambrosia Treatment Center is true to their mission and commitment to treat those afflicted with the disease of addiction. Each individual is treated with respect, dignity, and without any judgement. Ambrosia sees each and every episode of treatment as a new beginning and opportunity to heal. It is remarkably satisfying to witness first hand the transformations made to clients served each and every day with the work accomplished at Ambrosia.

Ambrosia is an amazing facility. Dotty helped me so much during both times I stayed at Ambrosia. In fact, Dotty was the main reason I came back to Ambrosia for the second time when my addiction took a hold of me again. Ambrosia has a great mix of programs, including small counselor groups, like skills groups, music therapy, as well as downtime for playing basketball, going to the pool, beach and park. We were taken to outside AA/NA meetings 5 times per week, which was nice for making connections upon leaving Ambrosia. I also enjoyed how we were taken grocery shopping once a week and able to cook our own meals. The condos are gorgeous, and the techs are very helpful and friendly. I made some amazing friends at Ambrosia whom I am still in contact with. I highly recommend this facility!

One of the most striking aspects of Ambrosia that stuck out at me while learning about the programs was each person needing treatment are truly viewed and treated as an individual. You will not find the typical, one-size-fits-all treatment at Ambrosia. Each program has its own broad speciality, and from the executives to admissions to the clinical staff, everyone in need of help is carefully considered and treated from their own unique circumstances. The ultimate proof of that approach is in Ambrosia's patient outcomes. Ambrosia prides itself on the quality of its care for those afflicted with addiction. Unfortunately, in the current treatment landscape, individualized, client-centered care, and caring whether or not the treatment offered is the best it can be is, from experience, woefully lacking. Individualized treatment is often advertised; rarely delivered. If i had only one thing to say to someone seeking help or their loved one that working in the field of addiction treatment since 2005 has taught me, without hesitation it would be: Not all Treatment Centers are created equal; where you or your loved one goes matters more than their - initial - motivation to stop using and change their lives. Rarely do addicts seek treatment completely on their own, why would we expect overwhelming motivation to change what seems (incorrectly) to be the scariest prospect of their lives; no matter how much they hate active addiction. So often we hear, "He/she just didn't want it bad enough" whenever the outcome is less than desired - Ambrosia clinicians seem to actually understand a large part of their job is to find and increase their clients personal motivations. And they are very good at their job, again evidenced by Ambrosia's outcomes and patient reports. I am confident to say when someone goes through an Ambrosia program, follows their team of clinicians individualized suggestions to the best of their ability, the likelihood of relapse is far, far less. In other words, you are giving yourself or your loved one the best chance of success after Ambrosia treatment. Whether it's a persons first time in treatment, the first time taking treatment seriously, or the 10th, Ambrosia Treatment Center will always, in this clinicians opinion, find what truly motivates the person and help grow it, tailor their treatment to the best of their clinical judgment, and always be one of, if not the, best option for sustained success. I've spent and continue to spend my time training clinicians in best practices and other topics, corporations in spotting substance abuse and offering treatment, and helping individuals of all circumstances enter quality treatment. My main concern is always what will work best for that individual. I can honestly say what Ambrosia has and continues to do is truly impressive. I am proud I now have the opportunity to be a part of a program I've admired for so long; and would offer help to anyone in need of help, for themselves or their loved ones.

I have to share that working with this organization has been such a pleasure . The executive team and management team have been nothing but great. They are a group of professionals that clearly love doing what they do best....and that is to help people and make positive changes in their lives. Gratitude :)

We are not able to accept Medicaid at this time. You're best bet is to call the number on the back of your insurance card. They'll talk you through your options. You can do this!
