My family and I stayed at the Gorge-Us Getaway cabin located at Cliffview Resort from 12/23/2021 - 12/28/2021. We were disappointed in the condition of the cabin. The overall appearance of the cabin was unkept. There was trash under the deck outside and the grill was a mess. The interior was dusty and there was a bottle cap lying underneath the TV stand. The kitchen area was not very clean. There was garbage (egg shells and such) wedged between the refrigerator and the counter. The appliances were heavily soiled with grease and other splattered debris. The refrigerator leaked on the inside and into the floor. Many of our food items were saturated with water. The front right burner on the gas stove did not function properly and gas would continue to escape when it was in the off position. It took some manipulation to get it to stop. We were expecting the kitchen to be stocked with the supplies needed to cook meals. There were 2 small sauce pans and the non-stick coating was peeling from both. There were no frying pans; however, there was a griddle. The baking pans were not in good condition. The cooking utensils were not clean nor in good condition. Thank goodness we brought a few items of our own. All of the dinning table chairs were coming apart at the top and not very sturdy. My husband and I used the queen bed with the adjoined bathroom. Our vanity faucet sprayed in every direction and it was nearly impossible to use without getting your clothes wet. There was no heat vent in that bathroom. The mattresses were covered with plastic and we discovered why. The morning we were leaving we found a bedbug in the regular bed. I am a nurse practitioner and I know what they look like. Luckily none of us received any bites. The trip was not all bad. The location of the cabin is serene and I imagine that it is beautiful in the summer and fall. The hot tub seemed clean and sanitary. It was relaxing. OK location for a get-a-way, but I would choose a different cabin. The one we chose was not worth the price.

My husband and I recently held our wedding at the lodge, and had an incredible time! We rented the entire lodge for the weekend for our family and friends to come together. Everyone from the managers to the inn keepers were extremely helpful and generous to us and our guests. While planning, Meredith was excellent and resourceful, answering any and all questions we had and helping in any way she could. We highly recommend Cliffview Resorts, and can’t wait to go back again!

We rented out the entire lodge for a work retreat. There are 16 rooms, all have their own bathrooms and porch access. There is a nice recreation hall area where we held our meetings and entertainment. The wrap around porches and swings were highly utilized. Parking was readily available onsite. There was an extensive continental breakfast daily. There is a fully stocked kitchen as well as a grill and hot plate outside. This place had everything we needed and more. We brought our own food but will look into the catering option next time for sure. There is someone onsite 24/7 to help with any issues. They even lit a fire for us at the fire pit one night! Our keys were ready for us upon arrival and everything went smoothly the duration of the trip. This is a close drive to many of the popular hiking trail heads.

We just celebrated our wedding at Cliffview Resort. We held the ceremony at Overlook Point, the reception in the Reception Hall, and had our large families in both the Retreat and Lakeside Cabins. Staff was very accommodating and chairs were set up and taken down at the wedding site. When we needed anything, they were quick to accommodate. The catering was superb. We got many compliments about the quality of the food and the service was excellent. The large cabins supplied all paper goods (paper towels, coffee filters, toilet paper, etc...). There were ample towels and such in addition to soaps and shampoos, which is not usually included at a cabin. The houses were absolutely stunning and comfortable. We felt right at home. There was also a grill with plenty of extra propane and each had two hot tubs for guests to enjoy. We were really just blown away by what Cliffview offered us at rates that cannot be beat.

Hi Ethan, Our Resort properties are smoke free for interior of the properties, however we do have smoking urns on our decking for your convenient. Smoking is allow on the decks and porches.
We sure do! Each of the three cabins has its own firepit. Just let us know you'd like a fire that night and we'll make sure you're stocked with firewood. Staying at the Lodge? Just let us know you'd like a fire and we'll get it going for you too!
We do not allow pets, only service dogs are permitted.
The hang over bar/grill is there. Check web site for hours of operation. Right down road are a few resturants in the gorge that sell food/drinks/beer. The county is now wet so there is a new liquor store there.
