On a little get away with my husband and had the best experience here! First the inside is beautiful. I love the rustic/antique/cottage look. It's feels so cozy and laid back here. Make sure you look at times cause they're only open a few days a week, but it's not summer yet. We started with the Duck Wontons and they where amazing!!! I had the Mahi Mahi and the pieces of fish were moist and delicious! Waitress and manager where very attentive! This is a MUST STOP!

I've been dining at the Brass Lantern since 1976. In that time, they've only had two owner/operators. I've never had anything but great food, excellent service, and at reasonable pricing. Since the present owners took over many years ago, the menu has gotten much more diverse, the daily specials never disappoint, and of course their delicious salad bar and homemade dressings have never been better. I applaud the fact that the management and employees always welcome my family with open arms and always seem to give us the VIP treatment - regardless of how busy they may be! I'm so thankful they are just a short drive away, and hope they continue their dining legacy for many years to come!

I had looked forward to eating at this local legend, and while I was certainly not disappointed I was a little underwhelmed. The service was friendly, the appetizers and sides were very good, but my steak was good but not great. Also, the wait for the food seemed a little long considering that the place was not that busy, but it was later on a Sunday evening, so that may have been the cause. Granted, my expectations were high, but I've had better steaks for less money elsewhere. Is a really neat restaurant with a homey, rustic vibe that I really liked, I may have to try them again someday to give the steaks another chance.

We were just passing through the town and decided to stop in and get some dinner, the food was phenomenal! The filets were delicious and very tender with delicious snap peas, baked potatoes, and grilled shrimp! The staff was very polite and nice. We have absolutely no complaints! Plus I got a margarita that was perfectly mixed... A+
