My wife , son and I traveled to Florida just to get away from Philly. During our travels we love to venture to the local soul food restaurants in the town that we are in….. we’ll let us tell you, this restaurant is at the very top of our list!!! We were greeted by GREAT southern hospitality by the daughter of the owner who waited on us. She treated us like family coming to the breakfast table. The FOOD!!!??? OMG….. DEEEEEEEEELICIOUS!!!! I thought the ladies in the kitchen were my grandmom and great grandmother. My wife had The chicken and waffles 🧇 and she said that it was the best ever. I had the Liver and onions on grits…. MY MY MY….. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it. We went back to R& K the very next morning. Our only regret is that we didn’t get the name of our newest family member / waitress / hostess or the cooks. If it wasn’t so TRUST we wouldn’t say!!! R&K Is a MUST try if you are in the Fort Lauderdale area.
