The staff is over the top accommodating and very polite!! The room was perfectly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Felt like sleeping at home and not in your bed!!!

The best part about our stay was the breakfast. Breakfast was amazing! There was a nice variety of quality items for breakfast, two types of waffles, different breads and bagels, muffins, cereal, eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, ham, yogurts, fresh fruit... honestly one of the best hotel offered breakfasts. Now, the bad stuff... our bed was TERRIBLE! So old and it was even BROKEN. Complete tear on the side with wire springs sticking out. Lay on the bed and expect to feel like you're laying a thin air mattress. It was terrible! When notifying the front desk, I was met with "well there's no way for us to know unless a guest tells us.." sorry, not sorry - a quality housekeeper would have immediately noticed that when changing the linens! Also, the door stopper would fall off the wall when the door barely tapped it. And lastly, the bathroom light was out, didn't work at all. Won't be staying at this hotel again.

Locals are not welcome!! We have stayed here multiple times through the years and have always had a great experience UNTIL now! The new manager has their own policy they won’t allow “locals” to stay there!!! We don’t live within the Hermiston area but that doesn’t seem to matter. If you live within an hours drive they consider you local! Seriously???? They will not get our business and I will NOT recommended it to anyone!

We were called a couple days before we got there to ask us if we were local, in which I replied "no I moved last year but I still maintain a local residence that I am renting out." I was told by "the manager" that if I am local they will not rent a room to me and if my id does not reflect my current residence that I would need to show proof that I am no longer a local resident "within an hour of the motel". He said that this was a policy that the old management team was not enforcing and that he was. I had to reassure him that I am not a local resident and show him proof of my residency when we checked in. The only thing that stopped me from getting a new room for our 4 day stay was that all of the other motels would have charged me double what I was going to rent these rooms for that I booked almost 3 weeks in advance. When we got there the pool was broken and we couldn't use it. The rooms were decent but not the best. The shower heads needed to be cleaned because they sprayed in a million directions and our smoke alarm kept going off when we took a shower. The front desk woman who checked us in, Abby, was great. She was nice and made our check in pleasant even after the "manager" came up and told her that she needed to make sure that she checked my residency. I probably will never stay here again and will not recommend it to my friends and family.
