Fantastic views. Lodge has great atmosphere. There's a small beach in back, we had a camp fire. Clean and comfy. Good beers at the restaurant with river view.

Rooms were clean but outdated. Staff was friendly. Beautiful views of the river. Location is pretty far from things and the area is very industrial but it's a good place for relaxing getaway. Downtown Walla Walla is about 1.5 hours away if you want to spend the day wine tasting.

Great location. Good sized rooms. Quiet area with a laid-back vibe in the hotel and restaurant. Great place to unwind, take a walk, catch up on work.

We've stayed here several times and always have good service. The rooms are clean, although the couches need replacing. They are worn and outdated. The rest of the room decor is fine. I read that some don't like the firmness of the beds. I think they are very comfortable. I always get a room with river view because it's very peaceful. The food in the restaurant is quite good. Service has been a bit slow lately because, like so many places, they are short-staffed. I'm sure they are trying to hire additional people. The front desk employees are always friendly and helpful. We always enjoy walking on the path that leads from the hotel, through a beautiful campground/RV resort, to the marina. Another option for dinner or lunch is Burnt Field Brewing, which is a short walk. They have a wide variety of beer on tap and pizza is quite good. If Boardman is your destination, River Lodge and Cabins is where you should stay.
