The person who helped us was rude ,we just moved here from Colorado and went to get a liscense. We had what was required from the web site but he I guess did not want to help us. Nothing satisfied him as he tossed my documents back to me.Shame on you is that how you trea new residents in your state? It was ok if I did not have the right things but you should not have an attitude problem when you are dealing other people

I have only good things to say about the staff here. I know people hate long waits but that's just part of life. I was frustrated with other situations coming in and they were kind, professional and gave me all the information I needed to get me set up. Very nice staff, working hard in difficult situations.

In and out in no more than 45 minutes total (I've waited a minimum of twice that when I've gone to the one in Bethalto). And so appreciative of the fact that they checked all our paperwork outside before we even got in the queue. I've seen so many people at the other location wait for hours only to be told they are missing one of the forms of documentation they needed or that one of the documents they brought in won't work for some reason. I've even been that person (when we first moved here and were trying to transfer our licenses, our warranty deed was on the list of documents but wasn't accepted for some reason). There is nothing more frustrating than waiting for 2 hours and then being told you'll have to come back and wait another 2 hours to try again, especially when you did your due diligence and checked the lists online and brought all the documentation it said you would need. So I really and truly appreciated that this location checked that first. All told, we waited about 10 minutes outside before getting in the queue, about 5 minutes in the car, and then it about 20 minutes inside the building for everything in there (my son was transferring his slightly-expired out-of-state license, while I chose to wait in the car).

When entering the building we were put on a list given a piece of paper to wait in our cat and we would be called . After 2 hours and multiple people leaving we went to check how much longer it would be, was told there was no list , rude doesn't even describe how hateful they were. Someone should be fired

You can skip the line and walk right in for a sticker. Long, hot line outside for everything else

Yes. Most transactions you can pay for with cash, including sticker renewals. The primary exceptions to the rule are certain special plate transactions and, of course, taxes.
