Terrible!!! Avoid Thompson's Funeral Home at all costs! My husband was buried on March 6, 2020. It is August 3, 2020, and he still does not have his headstone. Five months later, no headstone! This is unacceptable and it is also cruel, as we cannot get the closure that we deserve. More importantly, he was a great man! He served his country (Air Force Vet) and he deserves to be buried properly. I went through this funeral home at the request of family members and it was the biggest mistake I could have made. The burial service in March went well and they were promptly paid through insurance, but they have not installed his headstone and they seem to have forgotten how to care about the families' they are supposed to be helping. They are a family owned funeral home that does not honor their word. They are also supposed to be Godly people, but Godly people do not take your money and not finish the job. They are comfortable with letting the months go by, while my husband lays in an improperly marked grave. This is so disturbing to me and my family. I have filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and if this still does not get them to install the headstone, I will sadly have to go the legal route and retain an attorney. This is absolutely heartbreaking that I have to fight so hard for them to the right thing and install my husband's headstone. Save yourself the extra heartache and grief and stay away from Thompson's Funeral Home.
